Tis the season for baking, so wether you are a skilled cake decorator or if this will be your first festive bake, we are here to provide the inspiration!

The Classic Gingerbread House

 

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a gingerbread house, so why not make your own and give our yummy recipe a try? If you’re feeling confident follow our Royal Icing Decorating Recipe Tutorial to create a frosty winter scene, great for showing off your piping skills. Place the finished design as a centre piece to a festive feast, or use as an edible decoration over the holiday season.

✨Decorating Tip –  Use your favourite sweets such as jellies, lollipops and chocolate buttons to decorate your gingerbread house!

 

Stippled Royal Icing Snow

An essential skill for your Christmas bakes, check out the video above to see how to achieve a snow scene using the stippling method with Royal Icing. For an icicle effect, add a drop of your favourite Rainbow Dust Blue ProGel Colour, and finish with a light sprinkling of Sugar Crystals for a Winter Wonderland themed cake.

 

Christmas Cake Toppers

 

If you’re new to cake decorating, these merry Polar Bear and Teddy Bear toppers are a great choice for adding to your bake. Made using simple shapes and tools, choose your favourite Ready to Roll Icing colours and get modelling.
