Are you ready for another baking challenge? This week we thought we’d delve into decorating in more detail. We want you to create the most incredible, stunning and enticing animal cake topper you can using Ready To Roll Icing.
This week we’ve asked Lynn Hill, founder of the brilliant Clandestine Cake Club to cast her eye over your efforts. Lynn created the Clandestine Cake Club to bring together amateur bakers around the country on a regular basis so they could share their love of baking. Now there’s bound to be a Clandestine Cake Club near you. Who better to judge our Great Renshaw Bake Off?
Lynn will be judging your skill at creating an animal cake topper in Ready To Roll Icing. The animal is up to you, as is the cake you top it off with. But Lynn will be keeping an eye on your modelling skill as well as the finish of your cake toppers.
If you’re not that experienced with sugarcraft we’ve included a step by step example on our competition PDF. On the PDF you’ll instructions on how to craft a Ready To Roll Icing elephant. This should give you a solid grounding in the basic techniques and then you can let your imagination run riot.
