BAKED Book Launch

We are so proud to have seen the wonderful Adelle Smith, baker and founder of BKD, release her book in London last month.

BAKED: Amazing Bakes to Create With Your Child – winner of the Loved by Parents Awards 2015 and of the Smallish Design Awards 2016: Family Cookbook – doesn’t ask your age or how good you are, it’s just ready to offer you great quality family time. We love it for its tips and easy-to-follow recipes, ideal for you and your child. You will also find helpful tips to organise the perfect birthday party so…what more can you ask for?

Having worked with Adelle on a few projects, we trust you’re going to have a great time trying out all of her recipes! Adelle has always seen baking as a family activity and is now looking to inspire other families too. All of the recipes you’ll find have been tested in her award-winning BKD bakery, a boutique business that has collaborated with brands such as Hoxton Hotel, Gap, Soap & Glory, Karl Lagerfeld Kids, Virgin, Nintendo, Fortnum & Mason, Battersea Power Station, Donna Wilson and Little London Magazine the past few years.

Adelle and her mini-baker son Cai offer you 20 wonderful recipes, like these fun Happy Burger Cupcakes which feature our Renshaw Neon Multipack. If you missed the launch of the #BAKEDBOOK in London, we gave a little Happy Burger prize pack away to some of our lucky followers on Facebook and Twitter. We loved seeing the families having fun recreating the recipes at the launch event. It looks as though the Happy Burger Cupcakes were a huge success and all of the children had a fun time!
