Triple Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Baking ingredients

  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 100 g plain chocolate - chopped
  • 200 g milk chocolate - chopped
  • 150 g caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 75 g plain flour - sieved
  • 100 g white chocolate - chopped


Baking Instructions:

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas 4.

Step 2

Grease and line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper.

Step 3

Put the chopped plain and milk chocolate and unsalted butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Heat until melted, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Remove the bowl from the pan and allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly.

Step 5

Beat the caster sugar and vanilla into the chocolate mixture.

Step 6

Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, and then add the plain flour.

Step 7

Beat until smooth.

Step 8

Stir in the white chocolate chunks.

Step 9

Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Step 10

Cool completely in the tin before removing.

Step 11

Cut into 20 squares.
