CAKE OR NOT?

Because this month we’re all about the glamour and glitz we thought we’d put on an absolutely fabulous competition, giving you the chance to win a £100 Renshaw Baking voucher.

We all know that cake design and craftsmanship can be so high that creations in sponge and icing can be almost indistinguishable from the items they’re imitating, and we’ve shown you some chic fashion cakes recently. So we want to know can you tell the difference between fondant icing frills and flower and modelling paste buttons and the real deal? 

All you need to do is play the game. You’ll then have to decide if each image you see is a cake or not. Sounds easy? Wait till you see the pictures. We’ve selected the most beautiful fashionable items and expertly crafted fashion-themed cakes to bamboozle you. You’ll receive points for each correct answer, additional points for the speed of your answers and you can also boost your score by sharing the competition through your social networks.

Once the competition closes we’ll tot up the scores and the person with the highest score will win the £100 voucher. If there’s a tie the winner will be chosen at random.

So get your fashion specs on (we like Oliver Peoples but Ray-Ban is also a good choice) and put your skills to the test.

Fashion Cake or Not Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Entrants and winners must be aged 18 or over and be residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland.
2. The competition is not open to employees (or their immediate families) of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
3. No purchase necessary to enter.
4. Entrants must like the Facebook page and enter a valid email address to enter the competition.
5. The competition entrant accumulating the highest number of points will automatically be selected as winner.  Points are awarded for correct answers, quick responses and social sharing of the competition. 
6. In the case of a tie, where multiple entrants achieve the same high score, the winner will be chosen at random at Renshaw’s discretion. 
7. First prize also includes a £100 voucher off one order at www.renshawbaking.com before Sunday 31 August 2014 Renshaw reserve the right to feature the winning and runner up entries on the renshawbaking.com website and in Renshaw Baking communications.
