Monday 6th October 2014
Over the weekend Renshaw returned to the Cake & Bake Show in Earls Court, this time with our new Modelling Magic master class to teach the masses the tricks to modelling Halloween treats.
From Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th October we were thrilled to see so many take part in our Halloween themed classes with the talented Claire Bailey, learning how to make spooky cake toppers from our Ready to Roll Icing.
We were especially pleased to welcome Jacqui Kelly from Totally Sugar and Frances McNaughton of Frankly Sweet to be guest presenters on our stand. Jacqui also had the incredibly tough job of judging our Modelling Magic competition at the end of each day.
Before the show we challenged attendees to get creative for the competition by making a Halloween model with only 200g of Renshaw Ready to Roll Icing or Marzipan. Congratulations to Devika Rayner, Kimberley Chapman and Jessica Wooten who impressed the judges with their intricately made toppers. Well done to all who entered, they really did make judging difficult for us.
We also gave visitors an exclusive preview of our new Halloween creations, from three-tiered monster cakes to Frankenstein cake pops, which you can have a go at making yourself by following our recipes here.
It was great to see so many cake enthusiasts at the show and talk to the Renshaw faithful about what they’ve been making with our products. We’ll be on the road again from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November visiting Cake International in Birmingham, so be sure to visit us for some Christmas inspiration!
