ENTER THE GREAT RENSHAW BAKE OFF! WEEK 9 – Signature Cakes

This year we’ve been totally bowled over by all your baking skills and expertise. Each week we’ve been inundated with creative and beautiful cakes, and we’ve loved every minute of it.  

So what do we want you to do this week? Whatever you want to do!

That’s right you’ve got carte blanche. Make whatever cake you want, using whatever ingredients you like and decorate it in any way you see fit. We want you to let your creativity run riot.

We’ve called on Ruth Clemens (AKA The Pink Whisk) to be our judge this week. As the runner up in the very first series of The Great British Bake Off Ruth knows exactly what you’re up against, and she also knows more than a thing or two about great cakes. 

Because this is a free form challenge you’re going to have to pull out all the stops to impress Ruth and be in with a chance of winning the £150 Renshaw Baking voucher that’s up for grabs. 

Sometimes having a totally blank slate can be intimidating and it can be tough to get ideas. So have a look at our pdf with a sample recipe to inspire you.

Remember we’ll be judging you on the following:

  • Theme Appropriateness
  • Skill
  • Creativity
  • Finish

And all you have to do to enter is tweet a picture of your amazing cake using the hashtag #renshawbakeoff or upload it to our Facebook page. 

Because this is the final we’ve decided to increase the prize once again to a massive £150 voucher to spend at renshawbaking.com.  

CHALLENGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Entrants and winners must be aged 18 or over and be residents of the United Kingdom.
  2. The competition is not open to employees (or their immediate families) of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
  3. No purchase necessary to enter.
  4. Entries must be submitted by the 5th of October.
  5. Winners are chosen at Renshaw’s discretion.
  6. The prize includes a £150 voucher off one order at www.renshawbaking.com before Monday 1st of December 2014. 
  7. Renshaw reserve the right to feature competition responses and prize winner creations on the renshawbaking.com website and in Renshaw Baking communications. 
  8. By entering this competition you agree to receive emails from renshawbaking.com and The Cake and Bake Show (which you may unsubscribe from at any time).
  9. Competition entries close at 11:59pm on Tuesday the 7th of October 2014. 
  10. The winner will be announced week commencing Monday 06th of October 2014. 
  11. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. It cannot be sold or given to an alternative party.
  12. All entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
