Renshaw on the Road

Thursday 14th March 2013

This coming April we’ll be celebrating all things cake, making an appearance at both The Cake and Bake Show Manchester and Cake International London. Here’s some of the cake decorating fun we’re planning on having…

Cake and Bake Show Manchester

Running from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th April, The Cake and Bake Show Manchester promises to be an extravaganza for all things baking, with classes on bread baking to perfect piping, a gingerbread village and wedding dress (made entirely of sugar paste) showcase, plus star turns from Paul Hollywood and Eric Lanlard and baking book signings and live competitions galore.

At Renshaw, we’re dedicating the weekend to all things sugar paste, selling our full range of white and coloured Ready to Roll Icings with on stand offers and brand merchandise to sweeten the deal.

If you’re attending the show, roll by and check out our on stand demonstrations, showing how to make simple and robust cake decorating models to elevate the simplest of cakes, or come have a chat with one of our cake decorating experts hints and tips on how to make show-stopping cake creations.

For more in-depth sugar craft expertise, stop by the Renshaw Sugarcraft Academy, where the lovely Claire Bailey from our applications team will be teaching you how to model a sugar paste baby. Renshaw favourite Juliet Sear (see her exclusive Mother’s Day creation for Renshaw here) will also be making an appearance, not to mention the Little Venice Cake Company’s Mich Turner.

Simply pre-book on line to gain exclusive access to the enclosed Sugarcraft Academy teaching classrooms, where our host of sugar craft experts will be creating modelled flowers, butterflies and designer handbags for you to learn and replicate at home.

Cake International London

Taking place at the cavernous ExCel, this year’s Cake International London promises to be as big and bold as ever, with baking supplies on hand to buy, plus demonstrations, workshops for all ages and professional cake displays to enjoy. With Mary Berry and recent Great British Bake Off winner John Thwaite attending to run Q&As too, the London show is not one to be missed.

Showcasing our full range of white and coloured Ready to Roll Icings, with keen product promotions on offer to helps stock up your sugar paste store, we’ll also have cake decorating professionals on hand to offer expert advice to help you advance your cake decorating skills.

The Renshaw School will see demonstrations from cake decorating favourites Ann Pickard and Marion Frost teaching more advanced cake decorating techniques and tricks, and sponsoring the all three senior, student and junior Cake International competition classes, Renshaw is proud to be supporting the recognition of cake decorating talent across the UK.
